Message: I've mostly shared links and stuff, but the show mentions that people should write in for advice, too!
So here it goes:
I'm a step below a smart phone, just above a flip phone. I never was good with this sort of thing. I'm considering buying a tablet of some kind, though. I always called them "ipads" but I know now that "iPad" is actually a specific brand, and that "tablet" is the general term.
I've also learned more about how Android and Apple seem to be the 2 biggest...things...uh..operating systems, maybe? Is that right? And are there more than those 2?
Anyway, I've heard it mentioned on the show a little bit before, but if there's time, maybe y'all could discuss the pros and cons between these 2, based on your experiences. If not, no worries!
Basically the only thing I know, after helping my dad partially set up the tablet I bought him for Christmas, is that Android=Google...or something. I just know that all the apps were asking for a Google account!
