Message: Ep 135 sobering up: $40 an hour for nurses is a bit high, you probably get there after a few years and you're a low level supervisor. For new nurses, I'd say the average is $25-$30 an hour.
The butt wipers are usually LNAs (licensed nurse assistants). Nurse practitioners are advanced level providers that make the big $$$, usually six figures. Nurse practitioners can operate independently of a doc and can diagnose/prescribe meds.
